By downloading and using the Lorraine Assistant AAC application, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application.

Service Description

Lorraine Assistant AAC is an Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) application designed to help people with communication difficulties express themselves. The application uses emojis, artificial intelligence and speech synthesis to facilitate communication.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the application for personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy, modify or distribute the application
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer
• Use the application for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Interfere with the operation of the application or associated servers

User Account

Using the application does not require creating an account. However, certain features may require an internet connection and the use of third-party services like Elevenlabs for speech synthesis.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the application, including but not limited to software, design, graphics, text and logos, belong to Lorraine Assistant AAC or its licensors.

Disclaimer

The application is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, secure or continuously available. The application is an assistive tool and does not replace professional medical or therapeutic advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the application at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these terms of service periodically.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the application immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you violate these terms of service.

Applicable Law

These terms of service are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
